Wheels and Tires I finally got some new wheels and fresh rubber. I ordered a set of used 1997 Cobra wheels from Dave's Mustang Parts and a set of new Bridgestone Potenza RE730 245/45/ZR17 tires from Tirerack.com. I ordered the wheels and tires on a Friday. The wheels came in on Wednesday and the tires came in on Thursday. I was very pleased with both places I ordered from. I wanted to get the chrome Cobra R wheels but they were a bit out of my budget, so I opted for the older Cobra wheels.
The wheels were in
pretty good condition. There were a few minor scratches and
scuffs where the wheel weights had been. The place I had install
the wheels put the weights on the inside of the wheel.
