This was my first
real Mustang. When I test drove this 1987 Mustang GT, I couldn't
believe the power. I was hooked and there was no way I was
getting back into my 4-banger. I bought the car and soon
realized I could make it even faster. By the time I was forced
to part with my beloved Stang, I had the car running 13.6 in the
quarter mile.

The exterior was customized with a fiber glass hood, tinted windows,
Enkei wheels, and a very smooth black paint job.

As you can see, the exhausts tips
were customized. Before all the kits were being advertised in
Mustang magazines, I had an idea of cutting the rear valance and
adding dual chrome tips. The process was a bit crude. I
used a hack saw and cut the cutouts and then filed and sanded it
smooth. I had the curved tail pipe tips cut off at the local
muffler shop and bought the chrome dual tips from Pepboy's.

This is what the car looked like
prior to painting it. It's hard to tell by the picture, but it
was dark blue with gray on the bottom.
